The Executive Director is active in and networks within the communities at large and with industry representatives in pursuit of NBDHS’s mandates and goals."

Vaillancourt's has resigned effective December 8th. He is also a city councillor.

He sees his biggest accomplishment as "doubling the revenues of the Humane Society and one of the major highlights would be establishing the on-site pet clinic where we offer reasonably priced spayed and neuter services to the public."

It cares for over 1,600 animals a year.
