North Bay Farmers' Market bids farewell to founding executive member Ron Warman: Video

The North Bay Farmers' Market said goodbye this past weekend to one of its most long-standing executive members, founder Ron Warman of Alsace Gardens.

BayToday columnist and Back in the Bay print magazine publisher Dave Dale covered the North Bay Farmers' Market's salute to Warman. Ron and Liz have been a driving force behind the market for 20 years as it evolved and changed locations.

His last day at the market was Sept. 4.

The Market's mission has always been "to create reliable access to fresh and healthy locally grown food, support wellness and agriculture education, and provide the opportunity for local farmers, food producers, artisans, and community organizations to create a sustainable vibrant community."

The Market is open Saturday 8:30 – 1 p.m. and Wednesday 10 – 2 p.m.

Back in the Bay magazine fall edition comes out Sept. 15.
