North Bay experiences hail storm (UPDATED)

Hail and localized flooding during summer storm

Many North Bay residents were shocked around 11:15 this morning when they heard large clucking noises in their homes or businesses.  

The storm included hail and heavy localized rain that has flooded some area streets including the localized flooding reported in the area of Second Ave. and Front and around Duke and Fraser.  

The brunt of the storm rolled through around 11:30 a.m. 

Power has reportedly gone out in some areas of the downtown including the traffic lights.  

No word yet if there's been any other damage as the storm did include thunder and lightning as well. 

North Bay Hydro stated via twitter that they are aware of the outages across the city. 

"We will provide more details as they become available," North Bay Hydro stated via Twitter at 11:50 a.m. 

By about 2:30 p.m. North Bay Hydro reported that all power was restored in the city.
