North Bay Cops looking for 22-year-old man (UPDATED)

Police update that the suspect, Broady McKenna, was arrested around noon today.

The North Bay Police area asking the public’s help in finding the whereabouts of a 22-year old North Bay man who is wanted in connection to a recent assault.  

Police say around midnight on September 4th, 2016 Broady Norman Logan McKenna assaulted a woman known to him outside an apartment building on the 100 block of Third Avenue East.  The victim was taken to hospital suffering from serious injuries.    

McKenna is described as a caucasian with light/fair complexion, 5’9” in height, weighing about 148 pounds.   He has blonde hair and blue eyes and is known to spend time in downtown North Bay.  His last known address was on Main Street East.   

Public notice – Accessory after the fact

The North Bay Police Service reminds the public that under Canada’s Criminal Code it is a criminal offence to be an accessory after the fact. As described under section 23 (1): “An accessory after the fact to an offence is one who, knowing that a person has been a party to the offence, receives, comforts or assists that person for the purpose of enabling that person to escape.”
