Ontario is helping Northern Ontario entrepreneurs build a more diverse northern economy while creating more than 200 jobs.

Through the province’s Northern Ontario Heritage Fund Corporation (NOHFC), 17 northern businesses are expanding their operations by constructing new facilities, purchasing new equipment and adding new product lines.

Investing in Northern Ontario communities is an important part of the McGuinty government’s Growth Plan for Northern Ontario. A strong northern economy creates local jobs and protects the services that mean the most to families – health care and education.
QUOTES

— Rick Bartolucci, Minister of Northern Development and Mines and chair of the NOHFC
