The North Bay Jr. ‘A’ Trappers continue to give back to the community and the fans that have continued to support their junior hockey program each year as the organization
launches their first ever ‘Players’ Community Services Program.

Junior Trappers head coach Tom McCarthy feels no errand is too big or too small.

“It’s important to our players and their development as young adults and good citizens to venture out into the community and get to know our fans and people in general that can use a little helping hand from time to time. Our Public School Breakfast Club with Community Living, where our players serve breakfast and attend public school classrooms has proven to be a huge success and a lot of fun for our players too.” proudly stated Coach McCarthy

“There is no reason not to expect our ‘Players’ Community Services Program to be just as popular and successful, even little errands, or where the weather maybe too much for some to handle, is where we can gladly chip in. We can have our players visit and lend a helping hand when needed and as requested" said McCarthy.

Club President Chris Dawson is equally excited about the program kick off, stating, “we have worked very hard the past few years to build our program into one that our players, fans, friends and family members can all be very proud of, and our ‘Players’ Community Services Program’ is again just that and one that gives our players and fans and community members another fantastic opportunity to get to know one another a little better.” stated Dawson.

"We are pretty proud of the program that we have built here in a short period and wanted to find another way to give back to the families, fans and so many of our dedicated Seniors that continue to support us" stated Trapper’s Chairman of the Board Tim Clayden. “We take a great deal of pride in what we do and the people and players that we have involved in our program day to day. No matter where you play, it’s important to have your players involved in the community and the Trapper ‘Players’ Community Services Program gives our kids and our fans a great a chance to meet in person and away from the rink too."

The Jr. ‘A’ Trappers organization are making their players available to community members for odd jobs that they may have or need completed.

Odd jobs can include:
Driving to Doctor's
Groceries Carrying
Snow Shovelling
Snow Blowing
Grocery Taxi
Car Washing/Detailing
Eaves Trough Cleaning
Wood Piling
General Odd Jobs
Grass Cutting
Leaf Raking
