No charges in horrific crash that killed four

'As a result of the investigation, OPP has determined that no charges will be laid'

No charges will be laid in that terrible collision between a transport truck and SUV that killed four people west of Timmins last month. One of the fatalites was a pregnant woman.

The accident claimed the lives of all four people in the SUV. 

They include Paulette MacLeod, 61, her daughter  Aynsley Macleod, 29, and her two sons Jamaal Macleod-Nagokee, 10, and Kruz Nakogee, 3, all from Chapleau. 

Aynsley Macleod was six months pregnant. A gofundme account has been set up.

In a brief email, OPP say "Members of the South Porcupine Ontario Provincial Police have completed their investigation into the collision which occurred on February 23, 2017 at 10:25 a.m., on Highway 101, approximately 70 kilometers west of Timmins. 

"As a result of the investigation, OPP has determined that no charges will be laid."
