No change in hospital visiting

The North Bay General hospital has decided to maintain the status quo regarding its visitor situation after reviewing the matter today.

Visiting hours on 4W 4W Scollard will continue to be restricted to parents and guardians only on Paediatrics.

Anyone experiencing symptoms are asked not to visit other patients in hospital.

This policy will be reviewed again at the end of the week.

Patients with scheduled appointments ( clinics, diagnostic imaging etc.) are asked to keep their appointment. Only those visiting on the in-patient units are being asked to stay away due to high incidence of influenza and gastro-like illness in some of these areas.
