Even though it dropped in the standings this year, Maclean’s Magazine says Nipissing University is still a great place to have a good time.
This comes despite closing down the university pub called the Wall this past April.

The magazine, well known for its rankings of best universities to attend for a superior education, ranks Nipissing 6th...down from 5th last year.
Our neighbours at Laurentian University in Sudbury do almost as well, sitting in 7th place at 4.47 hours.
It ranks 47 schools by average hours spent partying a week.
The results of the unscientific poll came from a self-reported student survey. Over 15,000 students across Canada participated.
They were asked to estimate how much time they spend partying each week. Then the total hours were divided by the number of students responding.
Nipissing comes in at 4.49 hours per week while the top school, St. Francis Xavier almost doubles that total at 8.01.
The average was 3.27 hours a week.
Women hold their own. MacLeans says men averaged 3.59 hours per week with the women slightly lower at 3.27.
