Nipissing University is looking for community members with culinary skills who are interested in contributing a dish for the university’s second annual International Food Festival to be held on Saturday Feb. 4.
Anyone interested in contributing a dish should register by calling 705-474-3450 ext 4241, or emailing [email protected].
The deadline to register is January 20, 2006.
The food festival will feature a sampling of dishes from around the world, as well as cross-cultural visual and musical entertainment.
It is organized by Nipissing’s local World University Service of Canada (WUSC) committee.
For those interested in attending the food festival, tickets are $10 at the door and free for all volunteers.
All proceeds go to the WUSC Student Refugee Sponsorship Program.
