The North Bay Police have added another constable today.

The Service held a swearing in a ceremony this morning for their newest member, Constable Maxine Baronette.

Constable Baronette grew up nearby in Sturgeon Falls.

She attended the University of Windsor where she studied a General Arts Program while playing varsity hockey.

Baronette had a desire to help people which led her to return to the North Bay area and complete a Police Foundation Diploma.

She began her career in law enforcement as a Correctional Officer in the Province of New Brunswick.

In January 2018 she was hired as Special Constable by the North Bay Police Service.

Baronette was hired as a Constable and graduated from the Ontario Police College in November 2018.

Constable Baronette says she is grateful for the opportunity to serve the communities of North Bay and Callander.
