Northgate Shopping Centre continues to evolve as North Bay’s focal point for shopping in the area.

The shopping centre has seen some changes in the past year and a half.

Out are the Man Cave and Aeropostale, but in are some new stores including Bath and Body Works and even a fitness centre.

Fit4Less becomes the shopping centre’s first ever fitness business located at the West parking garage entrance.

“Fit4Less is a fantastic brand with a really great facility,” said Jordanna Grant, Northgate Shopping Centre’s Marketing Director.

“We are in a fairly central location which gives a lot people the option to purchase a membership at a very discounted rate compared to other gyms in town.  In addition there is a bus stop right in front of their location here at Northgate which is great for students or anyone that utilizes public transit.  We are really happy to have such a great addition to the mall.”

Grant expects more vacancies to be filled in the very near future as Carter’s OshKosh, a high profile children’s clothing store is expected to open in the fall.

“We recognize that there is a need and demand for a variety of new stores and are excited about more opening this fall,” stated Grant.

“We have received a lot of feedback from the public regarding stores that they would like to see in the mall and are happy that we have been able to bring some amazing brands to North Bay.”
