Name released in Highway 11 Fatality

Fatal motor vehicle collision

(Coleman Twp, Ontario) - On the 11th of January 2006, at 2:42 p.m., a motor vehicle collision occurred on King's Highway #11 in Coleman Township between a car and tractor trailer unit.

As a result of the collision, the driver of the car, Wayne Gamble, age 63 years of Latchford, Ontario, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the tractor-trailer unit was not injured in the accident.

The investigation of the accident has been completed and no charges will be laid.

Members of the Temiskaming OPP investigated the accident with assistance of a Technical Traffic Collision Investigator from the Kirkland Lake OPP and a Technical Traffic Reconstructionist from the Traffic and Marine Unit in North Bay.
