False Fire Alarm On the l9th of Nov. during the early evening hours the North Bay Fire Department attended a fire alarm at a residence house for Canadore College. This alarm proved to be false and Cst.

On the l9th of Nov. during the early evening hours the North Bay Fire Department attended a fire alarm at a residence house for Canadore College. This alarm proved to be false and Cst. Helene Boissonneault of the North Bay Police Service was called and commenced her investigation. With assistance from the Campus Security, this investigation culminated in an arrest of an 18 year old male. He was charged with False Alarm of Fire and will appear in court on the 3rd of Jan. 2006.

Break And Enters
On the 20th of Nov. at approximately 4:40 AM the owner of a home on Herman Cr. surprised a male youth in his porch. When asked what he was doing, the youth grabbed a partial case of beer and fled. He later dropped the case a few doors over. He was last seen going towards the West Ferris arena.
The thief is described as male white, 16 to 17 years old, 5'8" to 5'9", short dark hair and wore a beige coat.

Between the l6th and l8th of Nov. thieves forced their way into a residence on Summit Dr. Once inside they stole a Sanyo video camera, a Supra Pro Eagle Fish Finder, a Bulova Echo gold watch as well as other jewellery.

Between the l8th and 20th of Nov. thieves forced their way into a residence in the 400 block of Lakeshore Dr. Entry was gained via a basement window. Once inside they stole a small safe, cash, liquor, 100 DVD's, and some American currency.

Arson
Overnight on the l9th of Nov. someone placed a burning rag on the rear bumper of a vehicle in the 200 block of Worthington St. E. The vehicle received minimal damage and the fire extinguished itself.
