Missing Person - Can You Help the Police?

On May 29, 2006, at 2200 hours, the Anishinabek Police Service received a missing person report for a Gilles GUILLEMETTE
DOB 27 June 1962
5.9", 180 lbs.
Brown & Grey shoulder length wavy hair, with a receding hairline. Full beard and mustache, acne scared face.

Last observed to be wearing a blue bandana containing a white skull (on head), brown leather cowboy hat, light brown shorts, unknown colour shirt. It is believed that Guillemette may also be wearing his 3/4 length brown leather coat. Guillemette is diagnosed as bipolar and is mentally unstable (not taking medication for past 4 weeks).

Gilles GUILLEMETTE was last seen on May 29th at 8:00 am, when he advised he was going for a canoe ride. Guillemette's canoe was located, abandoned, on the Little Sturgeon River and it is believed he traveled on foot north of Highway 17, Beaucage Twp. (Mooze Miikun Rd. area)

A ground and air search for Guillemette commenced in the morning hours of May 30th, involving the West Nipissing Search and Rescue Unit, the Anishinabek Police Service and the Ontario Provincial Police.
