Mattawa OPP are investigating the theft of $10,000 worth of equipment from the railway tracks near McConnell Street.
Items were stolen from three different railway machines.
Stolen items include:
- Two 12 volt batteries
- Electrical meter
- Channel lock
- Grease gun
- Red tool box
- Hand tools
- Sledge hammer
- Black and Decker cordless drill
- Makita 3/8” impact driver
- Mastercraft tap and die set
- Specialty parts for railways
- Several LED lights
- Ontario Valley Railway communication radio
The estimated value of the property stolen is $10,000.
