Mattawa mail still available despite flooding

Canada Post says it is still delivering mail to flooded areas where it is safe to do so. "We continue to assess the situation and options in all areas to serve you as conveniently as possible," says the website.

Canada Post says it is still delivering mail to flooded areas where it is safe to do so.

Pick up your mail from an alternate location

Where mail cannot be delivered, Canada Post has secured mail and parcels at another facility and it is available for pick up. Remember to bring valid government-issued photo identification to pick up your mail.

In Mattawa, the location is the Mattawa Bowling Alley, 1240 John St., Monday to Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. but closed over the noon hour.
