Massey Dr. man charged with assault with a weapon

Just prior to 2:00am on Dec 1st a patron had been evicted from a downtown bar.

It is alleged that he took a knife from a downtown vendor, returned to the front of the bar where he brandished the knife and challenged the bar doorman.

He was locked out of the bar and police were called.

Aaron Black 23yrs of Massey Dr was arrested at 2:02am and charged with assault with a weapon and possession of a weapon dangerous to the public peace.

He is to appear in court on Jan 8th 2013.
