A 19-year-old Montreal man has been charged by the North Bay Police Service after purchasing numerous stamps.

Cst. Gerry Martin and Det. Cst. Greg McClenaghan attended at the North Bay Post Office in regard to the Montrealer, who had bought over $3000 worth of stamps from two postal outlets in the city. The man also had a fake driver’s licence and social insurance card in another person’s name.

Martin Letourneau, of Berry Street, in Montreal, is charged with three counts of possession of counterfeit credit cards. He was kept in custody awaiting a bail hearing. The investigation continues.
