Man faces weapon charge after ice pick attack

A North Bay teen faces a serious charge after another man was attacked with an ice pick.

Police say early Sunday morning at his North Bay home, the man struck a male victim with an ice pick. The victim, who is known to the attacker, was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The attacker turned himself into police headquarters shortly before midnight Sunday where he was arrested, charged and later released with a court date scheduled for October 11th.

North Bay Police charged a 19 year old North Bay man with:

  • One count of assault with a weapon.
