Man arrested after North Bay arson

The fire was contained in the residence and extinguished

North Bay police made an arrest at the scene of a fire at 413 Second Ave. W. this morning.

Shortly after 10 a.m. on Sunday police and the North Bay Fire and Emergency Services were called to the house.

The fire was contained in the residence and extinguished. there are no visible signs of the fire from outside.

Police have one adult male in custody.

No one received any physical injuries as a result of the fire

"There will be a police presence maintained in the area as police continue what has been deemed an arson investigation," says spokesman John Schultz.

Schultz says the investigation is in its early stages and more detail will be released when it becomes available.
