North Bay’s Brady Lyle has been invited to attend the Ottawa Senators Development Camp.
He is among 13 defenceman invited to the Senators camp which takes place from June, 26th to Monday, July 2nd at the Canadian Tire Centre and the Bell Sensplex.
The development camp, which focuses on off-ice and on-ice training, is being led by Senators player development coach Shean Donovan in conjunction with members of the Senators coaching staff including head coach Guy Boucher, associate coach Marc Crawford, assistant coaches Rob Cookson and Martin Raymond, goaltending coach Pierre Groulx, conditioning coach Chris Schwarz, goaltending development coach Kory Cooper and University of Guelph head coach Shawn Camp.
The 1999 birth year defenceman was traded to the Owen Sound Attack in the fall in the deal that brought goaltender Christian Propp to North Bay.
Lyle was the Battalion’s 1st round pick (18th overall) in the 2015 OHL Priority Selection.
In 63 games he recorded 11 goals along with 23 assists for 34 points in 2017-18.
Lyle is the second North Bay player to be invited to an Ottawa Senators Development camp as Matt Marquardt attended as an invite back in 2005.

Lyle went undrafted in his first year of eligibility in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft, but was invited to the Anaheim Ducks Development Camp last summer.
