The North Bay Parry Sound Health Unit says more than 50,600 residents have received at least one dose of the COVID Vaccine.
That represents about 47 per cent of the over 18 population. It's also 88 per cent for those over 80 years old.
Three new cases were reported today, all from the Nipissing District. There have been 391 cases since the pandemic began.
There are currently 30 active cases with 23 of those in Parry Sound District.
The Health Unit announced today that starting tomorrow a new telephone system should make communication easier. The change to a dedicated COVID-19 line was made in an effort to improve the call experience and open phone lines for those trying to reach other departments in the Health Unit

The Timiskaming Health Unit reports 10 active cases.
The Sudbury Health Unit reports six new cases today. PHSD also said there are now 79 active cases being monitored by public health officials.
The Simcoe Muskoka Health Unit reports 40 new cases and 930 active cases.
Ontario is pausing the rollout of the AstraZeneca vaccine in response to concerns about incidents of blood clots linked to the vaccine.
Ontario’s chief medical officer of health, Dr. David Williams, made the announcement today shortly after 4 p.m. accompanied by Dr. Dirk Huyer, coordinator of the provincial outbreak response, and Dr. Jessica Hopkins, chief health protection and emergency preparedness officer at Public Health Ontario.
