Local police get funding to fight online crimes

Nipissing MPP Vic Fedeli announced that the North Pay Police are receiving $99,216 in funding. This investment will be used to upgrade technology and training to improve investigations of online crimes like child exploitation, harassment, intimate image, and fraud.

“Our government remains committed to providing our frontline police with the tools they need to detect and crack down on online crimes,” said Fedeli. “This funding will help support local crime-fighting projects that will make North Bay safer.”
