Four local health organizations are receiving up to a total of $400,000 in funding, Nipissing MPP Vic Fedeli announced today.
The funds are allocated toward Hospital On-Call Coverage Programs and Physiotherapy Services.
Monies include:
- $164,200 to the North Bay Regional Health Centre to support the Hospital On-Call Coverage
- $117,000 to Martel & Mitchel Physiotherapy, including 23,400 in one-time funding for the 2013-14 year and up to $93,600 in 2014-15 and 2015-16 to support the provision of physiotherapy services
- $9,360 to Martel & Mitchel Physiotherapy – Powassan, including $1,872 in one-time funding for the 2013-14 year and up to $7,488 in 2014-15 and 2015-16 to support provision of physiotherapy services
- $8,500 to the Mattawa General Hospital to support the Hospital On-Call Coverage
