The Battery Battery business which opened its doors in North Bay in 2010, is opening a pair of new stores; one in Timmins and the other in Sudbury.
“Our area presents its own unique type of ‘tri city area’ in that North Bay-Sudbury-Timmins is a type of Northern Ontario Triangle,” stated North Bay Battery Battery owner Shawn Kettner.
“Each of the three cities are also a central place of business for their surrounding areas giving us access to their outer lying areas.”
Kettner says the company has come a long way since its opening in March of 2010 where the store opened in a tiny building with no windows and only one parking spot.
“I knew the area had room for a battery specialist, I loved the industry and helping people get their vehicles, gadgets and equipment rolling again, and although I was on my own and had to create all my own supply lines, it has been a very rewarding and enjoyable experience,” said Kettner.
