News Release

********************

The AIDS Committee of North Bay & Area (ACNBA) would like to assure those attending our “Paint the Town Red” Gala fundraiser that there will be no disruption of liquor sales tomorrow evening.

We have been informed this morning that operations at the Student Centre at Nipissing University/Canadore College will resume as normal and that beer, wine and spirits will be available for our Gala.

This milestone event will mark ACNBA’s 20th anniversary of providing HIV/AIDS and Hep C services to the North Bay area and a lead-in to AIDS Awareness Week events around North Bay from November 24th to December 1st.

The “Paint the Town Red” Gala features a fabulous four-course, surf and turf dinner, open bar, the legendary Jake Thomas and the Fundamentals, engaging guest speaker, Dr. Gretchen Roedde, dancing with the exciting DJ Neon Nomad and the piano stylings of Glenn Paul. A silent auction and Red Treasure Chests event rounds out this wonderful evening.

Tickets for the “Paint the Town Red” Gala can still be purchased at our office at 201-269 Main Street West until closing time at 3:30 pm today.

Tickets are $100 each and can be ordered now by calling ACNBA at 705-497-3560. All money raised goes to ACNBA’s client and outreach services.
