Today Nipissing-Timiskaming Liberals gathered at the Clarion Resort Pinewood Park to support their Candidate Anthony Rota and Prime Minister Paul Martin as they sprint for the finish line.

Joined by Provincial Natural Resources Minister David Ramsay and Nipissing MPP Monique Smith the Rota supporters filled the room to capacity snapping their red and white Liberal noise makers shouting ‘Rota, Rota’.

Ramsay told the faithful that it was important that they send Rota back to the Hill to continue the cooperation forged between himself, Smith and Premier Dalton McGuinty.

“We need Anthony Back,” states Ramsay.

While there was debate amongst local reporters as to who had the larger turn out, no one could argue there was energy in the room.

Rota took to the stage for a moment addressing the enthusiastic crowd in both official languages while waiting for the PM to arrive.

Rota thanked the crowd for their support up to now and also thanked Native, Provincial and Municipal leaders for attending and reminding folks that the up coming week was when the real work begins.
