Learning Disabilities Resource Centre set to open in the Bay

On Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at 10:30 am, in celebration of Canadian Learning Disabilities Awareness Month, the North Bay Public Library, in partnership with the Learning Disabilities Association of Ontario – North Bay and Area and the United Way, will open the Learning Disabilities Resource Centre at the North Bay Public Library in the Adult Department. yh

Part of an ever expanding collection that includes books, magazines and videos, the Resource Centre will be a place for parents with children with learning differences, adults with learning differences, teachers and other professionals can go for information about learning disabilities and how to accommodate the differences in school and life.

Local dignitaries will be on hand to open the resource centre.
