BayToday.ca has learned that Zedd Customer Solutions in North Bay is in the process of laying off as many as 50 of the 100 employees at the call centre located upstairs at the Century Centre Plaza off Shirreff Avenue on the north end of the city.

A source told BayToday.ca that management informed the employees on February 19th.

BayToday.ca tried to confirm this news with Zedd Solutions management and received a short reply.

“We are a privately owned company that prides ourselves in the privacy of our employees and clients,” stated Jason Pichette, Vice President, North Bay Operations stated in an email to BayToday.ca this morning.

“There is no information available for media distribution at this time.”

Zedd Solutions was founded in 2010 and is described as a mid-size outsource call centre.
