A 57-year-old North Bay man has been charged in relation to two 911 calls made June 30. A caller that day threatened to blow up the houses of two local lawyers and cause their death. The calls were investigated by Cst.

A caller that day threatened to blow up the houses of two local lawyers and cause their death.

The calls were investigated by Cst. Penny Kerr of the North Bay Police Service.

She and Cst. Jeff Warner went to an Algonquin Avenue business Monday afternoon and made an arrest in connection to the calls.

Timothy Tuffy, of Algonquin Avenue, is charged with two counts of conveying a false message, and four counts of threatening. He remains in custody for a bail hearing.
