Yup you'll want to see this guy.

It's Alan Doyle and the Beautiful Gypsies as the Sunday night headliner.

“Everyone remembers that Alan Doyle is formerly the lead singer from Great Big Sea who put on huge shows throughout the world," exclaimed an excited Jacques Begin, Co-Chair of the event. "Now he is coming to Mattawa Voyageur Days with his new band but with the same high level and intense show."

It's Mattawa Voyageur Days second major concert announcement in the past two weeks.

“The Committee is so pleased to have booked such a great Canadian superstar in Alan Doyle”

The opening the show will be Devin Cuddy, who is the son of Jim Cuddy of Blue Rodeo.

"Devin will be playing his smokin' good New Orleans blues,” said Begin.

Mattawa Voyageur Days is celebrating its 19th birthday.

The Committee announced Vince Neil of Motley Crue less than two weeks ago. Neil will headline the Saturday night concert line-up.

“The Committee has listened to the people and comments online and are offering a variety of great music with great classic rock, some great blues some great celtic…and there will be more. The Committee has just signed another fantastic band who will be supporting the Vince Neil Show on Saturday. The announcement will be next week.  And of course our Friday new Country will also be announced very soon as we have already signed one of our country co-headliners,“ added Begin.

Wristband sales are now on sale at all area Scotiabanks and Caisse Populaires as well the Mattawa Travel Information Centre for $50 tax included.
