New Fires

One new fire was reported on July 23. Sudbury 25 was 0.1 hectares and has been declared out.



One new fire was reported by the time of this report on July 23.



Sudbury 26 is being held at 0.5 hectares in size and is located north of Kukagami Lake.



No issues are anticipated.



Fire crews are assisting with storm damage clean up in Callander and forest fire fighting support to Quebec, Northwest Territories and Manitoba is ongoing.



Active Fires



A number of the existing fires are in Cochrane district and are being observed.



There are no issues anticipated with any of the active fires.



Fire Hazard



The fire hazard is low to moderate throughout the region.



Upcoming precipitation will likely reduce the risk of forest fires for the next couple days.
