Large party in East Ferris leads to teen being fined under Reopening Act

OPPn report that on June 11, at 11:15 p.m., North Bay OPP responded to a complaint about a large gathering at a home in East Ferris.

When officers arrived there were approximately 30 people both in and outside of the home.   

After police investigation, a 17 year-old, from East Ferris was charged with Fail to Comply with the Reopening of Ontario Act.

In Stage 1 of the ROA, outdoor social gatherings and organized public events are allowed for up to 10 people with proper social distancing and mask use.
