Labelle re-elected Board Chair.

The involvement and commitment of the school board trustees play a significant role in developing various initiatives for CSPNE, its schools and school communities.

Conseil scolaire public du Nord-Est de l’Ontario (CSPNE) held its organizational meeting on December 4 in North Bay and during the inaugural meeting, board members elected the executive.

It's is comprised of the Chair and Vice-Chairs.

The outgoing Chair, Mr. Denis Labelle, was re-elected Board Chair.

Labelle, a trustee representing West Nipissing, was very pleased to have the support and recognition of his colleagues who have entrusted him with his fifth mandate as Chair of CSPNE says a news release from the board.

He will be supported in his duties by first Vice-Chair for CSPNE’s northern jurisdiction, Nicole Arcand who represents the Timmins area.

This is Arcand’s second mandate as Vice-Chair.

Henri Ménard was re-elected second Vice-Chair for CSPNE’s southern jurisdiction. This will also be the second consecutive year as Vice-Chair for Mr. Ménard, trustee representing North Bay.
