The North Bay Police Service has arrested a 51-year-old North Bay man who allegedly sent a threatening letter to a local justice of the peace. The JP received the letter Wednesday and it threatened the court officer with bodily harm. Det. Cst.

The JP received the letter Wednesday and it threatened the court officer with bodily harm.

Det. Cst. Tina Murphy investigated and arrested a man as a result.

Michael Cardinal, of McIntyre Street E, is charged with uttering threats and was kept in custody awaiting a bail hearing.
