The North Bay Police Service has arrested a 51-year-old North Bay man who allegedly sent a threatening letter to a local justice of the peace.
The JP received the letter Wednesday and it threatened the court officer with bodily harm.
Det. Cst. Tina Murphy investigated and arrested a man as a result.
Michael Cardinal, of McIntyre Street E, is charged with uttering threats and was kept in custody awaiting a bail hearing.
