Joint Security Patrols at ETI

The North Bay Police Service has once again been called upon to help ETI Canada Inc. enforce trespassing legislation on its property.
The North Bay Police Service has once again been called upon to help ETI Canada Inc. enforce trespassing legislation on its property.

Paid duty police officers will join ETI security personnel in ensuring that hunters do not trespass on the ETI property.

Joint patrols are scheduled over the next few weeks to ensure that hunters who willingly or inadvertently wander onto the ETI property do not compromise public safety.

Violators could be fined under the Trespass to Property Act as well as the hunting regulations.

"Through these proactive patrols, ETI and the North Bay Police Service wish to ensure that members of the community, ETI staff and the hunters in the area are not exposed to unnecessary dangers," said NBPS Sgt. Chuck Seguin.
