Irate hospital visitor

A 28-year-old North Bay man has been arrested and charged after an incident early this morning at the North Bay General Hospital. Constables Steve Sproule and Jeff Warner, of the North Bay Police Service, were called to the hospital at 1 a.m.
A 28-year-old North Bay man has been arrested and charged after an incident early this morning at the North Bay General Hospital.

Constables Steve Sproule and Jeff Warner, of the North Bay Police Service, were called to the hospital at 1 a.m. because someone was allegedly kicking the lobby door.

The officers arrived and met a male who attempted to fight with them. He was arrested. There had been damage caused to the door and security camera.

Claude Genier, 28, of Copeland Street, is charged with mischief under $5,000, causing a disturbance and assaulting police. He was kept in custody for a bail hearing.
