Infant Dies in Hwy 17 Accident

Names Released from Fatal Collision


(Hagar, ON) Members of Warren OPP Detachment responded to a report of a serious collision on Hwy 17, West of Hagar on Friday April 14th, 2006 at approximately 2:08 p.m.

Brian George TRIMMER, 29, of Powassan and his son Nathan George TRIMMER, 4 month also of Powassan were killed in the motor vehicle collision.

Two other passengers in the Trimmer vehicle were taken to St. Joseph Hospital in Sudbury with serious injuries.

The driver and a passenger from a pickup, which collided with the Trimmer vehicle, were also taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

No one was injured in a third vehicle, which was indirectly involved.

The cause of the investigation is still ongoing.
