Ontario 511 says a police Investigation on Highway 11 has closed the roadway's northbound lanes between Mountain View Road and Tower Road in South River (Machar-Strong Bounday Road.)
The lanes and the shoulders have been closed since 11 a.m.
There is a detour however - Hwy 124 to Hwy 11.
BayToday has a call in to the OPP for details, and will update when they become available.
However, a witness tells BayToday that near the Sundridge exit a body is in the roadway with a transport parked sideways to stop traffic. There is an extensive police presence.
