Mattawa OPP is investigating a home invasion that occurred early this morning at approximately 3 a.m., on Chenier Road, Papineau-Cameron Township.
Two men wearing disguises entered a home by forcing their way through the front door. The men assaulted two of the three occupants in the residence and then fled the scene.
Two of the victims received minor injuries.
A description of the suspect’s vehicle was provided to police by a complainant.
A short time later the vehicle was located and stopped by members of the Mattawa OPP. Two men, 38 and 42, of Mattawa have been arrested and remain in custody. The investigation is ongoing.
