Hit with a pipe

The North Bay Police Service is looking for a man who allegedly used a metal pipe to strike another man. The incident took place Feb. 6 at approximately 1:30 AM when a male employee of the Moe-Ze-On-Inn was outside having a cigarette.

The incident took place Feb. 6 at approximately 1:30 AM when a male employee of the Moe-Ze-On-Inn was outside having a cigarette.

Police said the employee was suddenly approached by an unknown male who asked his name. When the reply was given, the victim was assaulted with a metal pipe. The victim sustained head lacerations with a possible fractured rib. His injuries required medical attention.

The description given was:

Male, white, 6’, medium build, 150-160 lbs., short blond hair in a crew cut style. The assailant wore a long sleeve red shirt and possibly jeans.
