Highway 17 east of Verner was closed for about half an hour this morning after a pair of vehicles collided.
At approximately 7:05 a.m. a silver Nissan Rogue collided with a black Dodge Ram. The driver of the Nissan was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The driver of the Nissan, Paulette Giguere, 69, of St-Charles, was issued a provincial offence notice for "Change Lane - Not in Safety."
The OPP) Warren Detachment, members of the West Nipissing Police Service, the West Nipissing Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services responded to the collision.
