The tractor-trailer had been travelling southbound on Highway 11, and the driver lost control and ended up in Angus Lake.

The highway had to be closed in both directions as a result of live hydro lines that were on the roadway.

Simranjeet Sandhu, 39, of Brampton, is charged with:

  • Fail to drive in the marked lane

It's not clear at this point, how much of the highway will have to be closed to traffic.

BayToday reached out to the OPP but has not yet received a response.
