North Bay OPP say a driver involved in an accident on Highway 11 North near Marten River has died from injuries.
The accident occurred just after 10 p.m. yesterday.
A 52-year-old person died at the scene.
The Highway has been re-opened in both directions after being closed for over four hours.
The OPP calls it a collision but gave no details of any other vehicle involved or circumstances surrounding the accident. Also not disclosed in a news release was the name, gender, or home municipality of the victim.
Members of the OPP Traffic Incident Management Enforcement Team are assisting with the investigation which is still ongoing.
