West Nipissing police are alerting motorists to a danger on a busy local road.
Last week, a concerned citizen told police that over the last month spikes had been placed on Cache Bay Rd.
The car owner suffered three flat tires as a result of driving over the spikes.
Police say the spikes appeared to be homemade and they suspect they were placed on the roadway intending to cause damage to vehicles.
This is an ongoing investigation and police are asking for the public’s assistance.
