Heavy snowfall warning

Environment Canada has issued a heavy snowfall warning for the North Bay area.

A Major winter storm will brush the southeast corner of northeastern Ontario today. Snow will begin for the North Bay region early this afternoon and end this evening. Near 15 centimetres of snow Is expected with this event especially over the southern half of the district. Motorists should exercise much extra caution as driving conditions may become poor due to low visibility during periods of heavy snow.
