The heat event will continue today with maximum temperatures between 29 to 31 degrees.
It will continue until this evening. Temperatures are forecast to fall below heat criteria Friday night into the weekend.
The heat warning continues for:
- North Bay - West Nipissing,
- Greater Sudbury and vicinity
- Temiskaming Shores - Temagami
The risks are greater for young children, pregnant women, older adults, people with chronic illnesses and people working or exercising outdoors.
Drink plenty of water even before you feel thirsty and stay in a cool place.
Never leave people or pets inside a parked vehicle.
