Health Unit announces seventh COVID-19 case

The Health Unit says they are still investigating how the woman contracted COVID-19

The North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit says a woman in her 80s is the seventh case in the area. 

It is not known if the woman is from the North Bay or Parry Sound area.  

The Health Unit says they are still investigating how the woman contracted COVID-19.

Of the seven cases in the area, two individuals have now been hospitalized while four other cases have now been considered resolved. 

The North Bay Parry Sound Health Unit has tested 428 individuals with more than 100 still pending results. A total of 314 people in the area have tested negative for COVID-19.
