Christmas is just around the corner, and what better way to get in the Christmas spirit than to attend this year’s Haleyfest! With performances from 10 local schools and 2 community groups happening over a span of two nights, this community event cannot be missed. Attend the event on Tuesday, December 4th and Wednesday, December 5th,(6:30 pm Christmas Music Prelude and 7:00 pm Start).

Back again this year as Haleyfest Artistic Director is well-known community personality Dennis Chippa.

The “Haleyfest” concert was initiated and named for Mr. Art Haley by Mayor Stan Lawlor in 1986, as a tribute to Mr. Haley’s dedication to the Santa Fund.

Haleyfest is in tribute to Doris Haley and in memory of Art Haley.

Ticket sales begin on Wednesday, November 21st at 4:30pm. Tickets will also be on sale on the Capitol Centre website at www.capitolcentre.org Tickets are only $4.00 each.

The Capitol Centre will be open for the Downtown Christmas Walk on Friday, November 30, from 10am to 9pm. Join us for two great nights of holiday favourites sung by local English and French students!
